Yuanhao "Harry" Wang

About Me

I am a first-year PhD student at the Graphics and Imaging Lab (GRAIL) at the University of Washington, co-advised by Prof. Steve Seitz and Prof. Ira Kemelmacher-Shlizerman.

Previously, I was a master student in the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, where I worked in the Human Sensing Lab under the guidance of Prof. Fernando De la Torre. I earned my Sc.B. Honors degree in Applied Mathematics – Computer Science from Brown University in 2023, where I was advised by Prof. James Tompkin.

[Nov. 2025] Two papers accepted to 3DV 2026: GarmentCrafter (oral) and SuperHead.
[Sep. 2025] Started my PhD at University of Washington!
[Jun. 2025] Started working as a PhD student researcher at Google.
[May. 2025] Graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master's degree in robotics.
[Sep. 2024] Selected as the student volunteer at SIGGRAPH Asia 2024.
[Jul. 2024] FabricDiffusion on high-fidelity texture transfer for garment generation accepted to SIGGRAPH Asia 2024.
[Aug. 2023] Started my MSR in Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.
[Aug. 2023] Our paper about the human-like biases in CNNs was presented at the ACM Symposium on Applied Perception.
[May. 2023] Our paper about the human-like biases in CNNs was accepted to a special issue of ACM Transactions on Applied Perception (TAP) 2023.
[May. 2023] Graduated from Brown University with a B.S Honors degree in Applied Math - Computer Science; won 2023 Brown CS Senior Prizes.
